It's Official!

Well, if you've heard the rumors, they're true!  We are moving!  Brandon has accepted a job (with the same company) in Statesboro, Georgia!  We put our house up for sale last week and sold one car on Saturday.  It's been a long time coming, but I think the reality is starting to sink in.  Our last visitors in Saint George left this morning.  We all cried.  Well, maybe not Brandon, he's not the crying type, but the rest of us did.  I bawled all through Young Women's yesterday.  Although we won't be moving til the first of June, we've already started the goodbye's and it's so hard.  I hate goodbye's!  We have really come to love Saint George and all the wonderful people we've met here.  We will miss everything and everyone.  There's still so much we didn't do and see while here!  I have this dream of one day coming back but we will have to see where life takes us!  We are prepared for a very difficult transition, being so far from family and everything we've ever known, but this just makes us all the more grateful that we will have the church there and we know that will be our saving grace as we leap into the unknown.  We're headed to the deep south people!  Culture shock anyone?  But, what an awesome opportunity we have to go and experience something new and different! 3 1/2 years ago I would have never imagined living in St. George, let alone actually liking it.  Now we love it, so we're hoping we feel the same about Georgia too. Every time we move we meet amazingly wonderful people and we feel blessed to count them as friends (although that always makes it harder to move again--dang it, stop being so wonderful!) As hard as this all is, we know that this is what we need to do!  So, if anyone ever wants to go on vacation, give us a call!  We are not far from Savannah and Tybee Island, Hilton Head, SC, Disney World, and so much more!  We would love to have you come stay!

Birthday Preview

This one's for you Mom, thanks for talking while I worked, it made it go must faster, and that's when I started to see it coming together.  I finished the cake at 12:15--well, as done as it's going to get.  I decided to bag the elephant on top.  I'm quite pleased with myself, not bad for a first time!  Off to bed!

Holy Moly!

Can't believe my baby's turning one!  So much to post about, so precious little time (with the little munchkin thinking he's good with only one nap).  Perhaps when the cake is decorated, the house is cleaned, adn all the laundry is folded  (and both kids are sleeping) I'll get back here to fill you in on our lives as of late.  For now though, your invited, really, if you can come!  And yes, I'm aware that Monday is the 4th, unfortunately I didn't realize that until after they were sent off to be printed...the party is on Monday,

So I kinda have a thing for decor that can be changed out for every season, so I'm really digging the whole subway art craze.  Valentine's Day has come and gone and today is the end of February! It's time to get out all the packages (if you read my private blog that makes sense) I have practically nothing for St. Patty's day, so I thought I'd just download someone else's subway art and call it good.  But I looked, and none of them were speaking to me (don't get me wrong, there's lots of great stuff out there, but I'm kinda picky), so I decided to make my own.  Here's what I came up with up.   If you like what you see (and would like one for yourself) leave me a comment with your email address and I'll send it to you!
