We were lucky to be up north last weekend so we could join in the birthday festivities of
Breah's cousin "Squiggle" at the zoo on Saturday. It was "Mommy & Me" day, so we all had our matching shirts on, which got us in for $2 less!
Breah loved all the animals, but her favorite
exhibits were the small animals that she could get up close and personal with, and the "yow" (water). The first thing we saw was a turkey, and we had a hard time breaking her away, even though he scared her half to death gobbling right in her face. She also loved the monkeys, and all the birds and what not in the little jungle thing...she even tried to share her milk with the ducks and play peek-a-boo with the monkeys
Here she is riding up on Grandpa's shoulders, looking at the 18 month pregnant elephant (and she's not even done yet, poor thing)! Breah likes to try and make elephant sounds and stick her tongue out like the giraffes (sorry, can't crop that in today). We sure had a lot of fun and were all exhausted after a day of sunshine and friendly animals. As soon as Breah finished her free ice cream she was out--how's that for a sign of a good time?

We went to the zoo on monday, darn just 2 days short. BREAH IS SO CUTE in these pictures and I love her fountain top. You are impressive making your own soap. And sorry about the confusion with the babysitting but thanks for being willing. I ended up watching them myself becasue while tryin to get into the session found the my recommend had just expired! Anyway....we got it all worked out but it was one crazy weekend.
Your my 5th friend that has gone to the zoo. We should have planned a trip together.

Oh Shaylah! I miss you guys. We are still twidling our thumbs waiting for word that we can come back. The office should open in St. G any day now if it hasn't already and then we just need to wait for somebody to give PB some roads to design and we are set! I'll keep in touch when we find out!
